01 Feb 2025 Rotary Radio Auction Feb 01, 2025 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM It's our 15th Annual Charles City Rotary Radio Auction! Visit the event page often to see the latest announcements and auction items. Then tune in LIVE on KCHA 95.9 FM from 9am to noon on Saturday, February 1, to bid on your favorite items. (Sorry, no early or reserve bids.) Visit the link below for a full list of auction items! The list will be updated regularly so visit often to see what's new. 2025 Radio Auction Items NEW THIS YEAR -This year’s radio auction is a partnership with the Floyd County Museum. Funds raised from the auction support Rotary's local scholarships, local community service projects and Rotary International projects AND projects at the Floyd County Museum. How the Auction Works All items will be sold LIVE on KCHA 95.9FM on Saturday, February 1, from 9 a.m. to noon. No early sales or online bids will be accepted. Our Rotary Guest Announcers will present items on the air. Note: Items may not be sold in the exact order of the list posted here. We will sell a few items at a time, so be listening for new items to come available. When you hear an item you want to bid on, call 641-228-1000 to place your bid. When you call in tell us your NAME and PHONE and ITEM and AMOUNT. We will ask for this every time you call. Keep track of the bids and call back to raise the bid. We will announce winners on the air when a top bid is reached. We will not accept early bids, so please wait to call until the item you want to bid on is announced. Items will be ready to be picked up at Circle K Communication (1003 5th Ave) starting at 1 p.m. Remember - this is a fundraiser, so items may sell for more than their stated retail value. Your donations help support local and international Rotary projects including local scholarships.
