Applications are now being accepted for two $1,000 scholarships!
Each year, the Charles City Rotary Club awards scholarships for up to two outstanding high school graduating seniors based on their scholastic, extracurricular and community activities and achievements.
- Applications are open to all graduating seniors from Charles City High School or Carrie Lane Alternative High School
- You do not have to have a family connection to Rotary to apply, and the scholarship awards are not tied to attending college or a certain field of study
- Scholarship criteria include academic and extra-curricular activities through school, as well as involvement in community (non-school) activities that help make for a more well-rounded community member
- Applications are available from the high school guidance counselor’s office or downloaded here
Please complete and return the application prior to 1:00 PM on April 28, 2025, at the High School Counselor’s Office or to Mark Wicks at the Charles City Area Chamber of Commerce, 401 N. Main St., or email to mark@charlescitychamber.com.
Recipients will be announced on Class Day and honored at the annual Rotary “Pass the Buck Night” on June 23.
