Sheila's daughter and some friends were in a car accident over the weekend. Prayers for recovery to those who sustained injuries and healing for all from the trama of the accident.
Charles City basketball player Jackson Molstead has been nominated as a McDonald's All American. Finalist will be announced soon.

Grant Awards Ceremony - The Floyd County Community Foundation will award the Club funds for the CO2 detector project on Wednesday at 6pm at the Youth Enrichment Center. All are invited to attend.
Resignation - Kelsey Uetz has submitted her resignation from the Club due to work commitments
New Board Member - Ryan Parker will full the remaining Board term of Kelsey Uetz
RYLA - The Club has secured 2 spots for Young RYLA (middle school) and RYLA (high school). Dean and youth committee will work on recruitment. The District is also looking for volunteers to work at the RYLA event.
District Governor Nominations - District 5970 is seeking candidates for District Governor to serve during the 2022-2023 Rotary Year. Read full position description here
Soup Supper - Saturday, January 26 from 4-7pm at the Elks - Please arrive at the event by 3:30pm and park in the far rows at the Elks. Wear one of your Rotary shirt. If you do not have a shirt, there are Thrivent shirts to wear/display. Don't forget to sell tickets!

Program: Today's program was a continuation of last week's updates on projects as programs. See Announcements above for the latest on the Radio Auction and Soup Super. Plans are under way to begin distributing the CO2 detectors in March. New/proposed projects include a scrap metal drive fundraiser at the time of the city's spring clean up and a clean up project at Lion's Field playground.
