Satellite Club Meets tonight - Join us at 6:30 pm at the North Grand Business Plaza. There are lots going with the upcoming Car Show and 2022 Holiday Lights.

Scholarship Applications due May 6 - Each year, the Charles City Rotary Club awards scholarships for up to 2 outstanding high school graduating seniors based on their scholastic, extracurricular and community activities and achievements. Applications are now open to all graduating seniors from Charles City High School or Carrie Lane Alternative High School. Applications are due Fri. May 6. Read more here

Pass the Buck Committee - It's time to start planning our annual Pass the Buck event. The first meeting will be May 10 at 5:30pm at Hot Shots

Parking Lot Clean-up May 11 - The first parking lot clean-up for the year will be Wed. May 11 at 5pm (rain date May 12) at Senior Center parking lot. Bring brooms, shovels and leaf blowers if you have them.

Fun & Frolic: Happy May Day - The Club enjoyed treats from Kay Winkelman
Program: This week's program was a session to brainstorm and discuss project ideas and goals. Ideas included: speaker system for the downtown, playground and pool updates, projects at Wildwood, renovations at the depot, curb appeal project for the new law enforcement center, trail projects, event tent rental, street banners, and investment with NIACC academy.
A committee is going to start work on a project to possibly purchase new street banners for the downtown before RAGBRAI. See Kay if you would like to help.
The Club will also take part in the upcoming projects in the Clark Street Edible Arboretum with paths, water projects and signage. Details to come.
