Dean Stewart reported the 4 students who attended RYLA last week had a great experience and will give a program to our Club soon.

Petition for School Bond Referendum - Members were reminded that if they live in the Charles City School District, signatures are needed to allow the school to move forward with the bond referendum vote for improvements to the high school facilities and the addition of an auditorium. More information here

Chris Garden held an auction for leftover gift certificate prizes from the car show.

Program: This week's program was presented by David Rottinghaus on his family's new Sherman Creek Development. The project will include the construction of 9 townhome units across from the former Sherman Nursery. The townhomes will be approx. 1,800 sq ft with 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, 2 car garage and basement. They are excited to be working with many local contractors on this project and hope to help address some of the community's growing need for quality workforce and professional housing.
