Committees - Committee chairs are asked to follow up with their committee members to confirm their participation in the committee for the year. The goal is for every member to serve on at least one committee. If you would like to switch or try out a different committee, this is a great time to do so!
Party in the Park - The year is off to a great start! Volunteers are still neededto work the popcorn booth: July 26, and Aug. 9. Shifts are 5-7pm and 7-9pm. See Kay to sign up.
Floyd County Fair - It's fair week! There still lots to do this weekend. Take time to support exhibitors and events. Fair schedule
Fun & Frolic: Richard Avril tested the club with big business trivia.
Program: Today's program was presented by Assistant District Governor John Ebert on behalf of District Governor Michelle Bell. Michelle is striving to highlight Club flexibility and get input from members throughout the District. Rotarians were encouraged to participate in District committees and events with District leadership opportunities available.
Quarterly Salad Option - In an effort to address member requests for salads, the Club is going to offer a salad option next quarter. Members can choose to have a salad instead of the main entree for the quarter. Those taking the salad meal can still take the other parts of the regular meal (bread, dessert, drinks, etc.). The cost will remain the same. See Marcie to try this option for a quarter.
