Announcements:
- Rotary Scholarships - Senior students in the Charles City Community School District who graduate this year are eligible to apply for an Outstanding Senior Scholarship through the Charles City Rotary Club. Two scholarships of $1,000 each will be awarded. Applications are available through the Charles City High School Guidance Counselors Office, by contacting Rotary Scholarship Committee Chair Mark Wicks or below. Completed applications must be in to either of the above by 1 p.m. on April 30 to be considered.

Chili Cook Off - The Great Chili Cook-Off returns Friday, April 5, 11 am to 1 pm at the Columbus Club. Hosted by Main Street Charles City, this year’s event will feature the culinary talents of the Comet Café students from Charles City High School. Tickets will be $10 per person and available in advance at the Main Street Charles City office.

Spring Cleanup April 20-27 - Save the Date for the annual Charles City Spring Cleanup. Volunteers will be needed on Wed. April 25 for scheduled pickup. Details coming soon!

It is better to put your name on the list by noon Friday and take it off later if needed. The weekly menus are also shown on the sheet.

Program: This week's program was presented by City Improvement Association President Yolanda Van Ausdall and Publicity Chair Theresa Cherry with a tour of the CIA parks. This year they are planning to add accessible picnic tables at Bayou Bend Park and will continue their Yard of the Month feature.
