- Playground Project Committee - First meeting will be Thursday at noon at Lions Field! The Club is considering a playground project at Lion's Field. This could be a larger project with the City and Lion's Club. See Chris Garden if you have an interest in helping with this committee.

We are continuing to ask our members to sign up for meals each week to help us control food waste and membership costs. Tabs are available at the bottom of the spreadsheet for the upcoming months. The weekly menus are also shown. Many members have found it easy to sign up for all of the weeks they plan to attend and then remove themselves by Friday if they find their schedule has changed.

Fun & Frolic: Dean Stewart asked members to share something positive going on in their life and pay $1 in celebration all the good things.
Program: This week's program was presented by a team from the Northeast Iowa Food Bank - Director Barb Prather, Manager Shannon Bass and Board Member Cheryl Erb. The team talked about their history of serving the area and local food insecurity. The Food Bank has a partnership with Feeding American Network and they serve 16 counties in Iowa. A Mobile Food Pantry effort is starting in Charles City and volunteers are needed to grow the mobile food pantry effort.
