Treasurer's Report: None
Honors and Illnesses:
- Thanks to the Ruth Farmer Estate for a generous scrap donation that totaled $630
- Bill Frye has been diagnosed with a glioblastoma in the brain. After the results of the biopsy are available, options for treatment will be discussed. Bill and family thank you for your concern and support.
- Randy Heitz is doctoring for some heart irregularities. He appreciates the help he is receiving while he cannot drive and the prayers and support.
- Stacy Ackerson (husband of former Rotarian Staci Ackerson) had a procedure this week to put a stint in his bile duct. Next steps will be chemo and treatment plan.
- Alan Powell's mother in is the hospital and prayers are appreciated.
Announcements:
- Christmas Caroling - December 17 - Save the date and plan to join us for caroling at the care centers, hospital and assisted living. Meet at 11th Street Chautauqua at 5:30pm.
- Soup Supper Save the Date - January 11, 2025! Mark your calendar for our annual soup supper! All members are needed to help make this tradition a success. Signup sheet coming soon!

Program: This week's program was presented by Nate Ruge, Resource Development Director with United Way of North Central Iowa. Nate shared some of the programs offered including the Dolly Parton Imagination Library, a book gifting program that mails free, high-quality books to children from birth to age five, no matter their family’s income.
