- Congratulations to members of the Charles City Singers on a wonderful spring concert! Alan Powell encouraged members (especially the men) who enjoy singing to give the group a try.

- Tree Watering Time! It's time to start watering the trees. Links to the current schedule are below. Let Alan know if you would like to join the watering team or could sub.

- Nominations for President-Elect - The Board is taking nominations for President-Elect for the 24-25 year who will then step into the President's role for 25-26. Nominations should be shared with President Bill or a member of the board.
- Rotary Scholarships - Senior students in the Charles City Community School District who graduate this year are eligible to apply for an Outstanding Senior Scholarship through the Charles City Rotary Club. Two scholarships of $1,000 each will be awarded. Applications are available through the Charles City High School Guidance Counselors Office, by contacting Rotary Scholarship Committee Chair Mark Wicks or below. Completed applications must be in to either of the above by 1 p.m. on April 30 to be considered.

Program: This week's program was presented by Myrtle Nelson, NIACOG Exec Director, on her trip to Kerala, India, with the University of Iowa's Sustainable Practices group study. The trip focused on sustainability in action including: architecture, local resources, agriculture, and consumption of goods, energy, food, and water.
