Member Resignation: The Board accepted the resignation of Anne Lundquist as she takes time to focus on family.

Outstanding Senior Scholarship Applications -Senior students in the Charles City Community School District who are on schedule to graduate this year are eligible to apply for an Outstanding Senior Scholarship through the Charles City Rotary Club. A total of two scholarships of $1,000 each will be awarded. Applications are available on our Club website, through the Charles City High School Guidance Counselors Office or by contacting Rotary Scholarship Committee Chair Mark Wicks at mark@charlescitychamber.com. Completed applications must be turned back in to either of the above by 1 p.m. on April 27th to be considered.

RYLA Applications Available - If you know a high school student who would benefit from attending RYLA, send them to District5970.org to find program details and fill out an application for the summer of 2026 RYLA event!

Express Lube Grand Opening Car Show - Members are invited to participate in the car show at the Express Lube Grand Opening on May 8 at their location on Gilbert Street. See their Facebook page for details

MEAL SIGN UP - Please be sure to sign up by noon on Fridays! Reminder to add meals for guests (other than the program). We need to give an accurate count to Dave's so we have enough meals for our members and guests. Not sure if you will make it? It is better to put your name on the list by noon Friday and take it off later if needed. The weekly menus are also shown on the sheet.

Program: This week's program was presented by the Floyd County Food Pantry, formerly Messiah's Food Pantry. Following the retirement of Debi Lincoln, a new board has formed and has taken on the operation of the food pantry at its Main Street location. Board President Jen Burton, along with a team of board members, shared the pantry's mission, eligibility guidelines, and statistics for food needs in our area. The pantry is always in need of donations of food, funds, and volunteers as they work to serve the food needs in Floyd County.
