Holiday Lights Project - Do you love holiday lights? The satellite club is working on an idea for holiday lights project and community driving tour. Contact Tami Vetter if you want to join in. The next satellite club meeting on Tue. Oct. 20 at 6:30pm will be at The Rustic Corner to work on planning this project.
Trails Development Committee - Contact Steve Diers if you have an interest in being part of communitywide planning for trails development. Several members have expressed interest already and there are opportunities for future club projects.
Work Day in Cedar Rapids - Oct. 17 - Rotarians across the District are invited to join with the non-profit group Matthew 25 for a workday focused on home repair projects for low-income homeowners who have damage from the derecho. There are a variety of jobs based on skill level (many require little or no skilled labor), and jobs are assigned based on how you answer the questions on the registration page.
