Honors and Illnesses: President John recognized Rotary anniversaries of Linda Klemesrud since 2001, Pat Gabel since 2006, Randy Heitz since 2009 and Tammy Elthon since 2005!
Sue Ayers asked about what to do with the Haiti funds received. A plane will not be going for quite a while. However, medical supplies are needed. The Health Clinic Director (in Haiti) has asked for a direct wire of funds so he can purchase items needed. She was asking for the club's blessing. Which was wholeheartedly given.
Marcie Andrews gave an update on the cook book. The proof is back from the publisher. She's going through it and plans to send it back asap for printing.
Dennis Donovan got the grant for Rotary Foundation and Community Foundation.

Fall Family Picnic - Sign up sheet is being sent around. This will be held at Linda and Ron's place in Nashua. Hay rides will be available. 10/24/21 2-6pm.
Fun & Frolic: Tammy Elthon filled in for Kay W with Halloween Trivia
Program: Alicia Painter invited Tyler Mitchell (CCHS Offensive Coordinator - Varsity Football) who filled in for absent Head Coach Brian Bjorklund. Tyler talked with the club about how they've impacted the lives of our youth. He shared information on several coaches and volunteers. Currently there are 65 kids out for FB. The coaches are attending ALL the games - not just those levels they are coaching. Coach started an open gym and extra practices March, April, May and in the summer they have 2x week practice and lifting. Additionally, we have team camps, kids camps and YSF, engaging the older players with the younger players giving enthusiasm to the program at a very early age. He's been very excited about all the changes, and the team play is a shining example of how this is benefiting the program.

Our District is taking applications for Global Scholars! We need to find a Global Scholar for the 2022-2023 Rotary year in the next six weeks. If you know of someone who would benefit from graduate-level course work or research in a country outside of the United States during the 2022-2023 academic year, we want to work with them to possibly be a Rotary Global Scholar.
