President Elect Needed! The Board is still seeking nominations for the office of President Elect 2025-2026. This person would traditionally step up to the office of Present the following year (2026-2027). This is a great way to be involved with our Club and learn more about Rotary International. See a board member with nominations.
Great Chili Cookoff is Friday (February 28) - Eat chili and vote for your favorite Friday from 11am to 1pm at the Columbus Club. Tickets are $10 and available at the Main Street Charles City office (401 N Main) or at the door. This year's event will be a competition among service clubs. Ann Troge will be representing Rotary!
A note about Paul Harris Recognition - A Paul Harris pin is awarded in recognition of the cumulative contributions of $1,000 to the Rotary Foundation. Each additional $1,000 level of contribution is recognized with a Plus Number and new pin. For example, a Paul Harris Plus 3 pin has 3 gems embedded for each $1,000 contribution above the original contribution. Save the date for Pass the Buck Night! This year's annual Pass the Buck dinner event will be Monday, June 23. This is a week earlier than normal to avoid conflicts with July 4th festivities. The committee will begin planning soon. See Linda Klemesrud with program ideas.
Remember we will start the Zoom meeting about 12:20pm to allow time for everyone to eat.
MEAL SIGN UP - Please be sure to sign up by noon on Fridays! Reminder to add meals for guests (other than the program). We need to give an accurate count to Dave's so we have enough meals for our members and guests. Not sure if you will make it? It is better to put your name on the list by noon Friday and take it off later if needed. The weekly menus are also shown on the sheet.
