Holiday Lighting Project - The Satellite Club is working on building a holiday lights display that will be on the McQuillen Place building. Anyone interest in helping with this project can contact Tami at The Rustic Coner.
Satellite Club Meeting Tue. Nov. 17 - The Satellite Club will meet at 6:30pm at The Rustic Coner.
Radio Auction - Feb. 6 - Save the date and be thinking of items you could donate and ways we can support our local businesses in addition to asking for donations.
Fun & Frolic Suspended - Based on feedback from the survey, we will suspend Fun & Frolic until we are able to meet in person again.
November Board Meeting & Visit from District Governor- Nov. 23 - This month's Board meeting will be rescheduled to November 23 so it can coincide with the visit from our District Governor Lowell Stoolman. The DG will also be our program at the noon meeting.
Special Board Meeting Thurs. Nov. 12 at Noon - The Board will hold a special meeting to review the next steps with the Ellen Bengtson Scholarship.
Program: The Ellen Bengtson Women in Science Scholarship is growing! Thanks to a generous pledge from Cambrex to give $5,000 in 2020 and $5,000 in 2021, the goal of reaching $25,000 to establish an endowment and scholarship through the Community Foundation of Northeast Iowa is within our reach.
This week's program was presented by Terry Gaumer with the Community Foundation of Northeast Iowa. She shared about the foundation, Iowa tax credits and how our Club could make use of their services with our scholarship.
