Program: This week's program was presented by Dawn Deines-Christensen, owner of Prairie Patterns by Dawn D-C in Greene. She talked about her positive prayer pebbles and gave each one of us one to take home. The ones she gave us were painted in a weave pattern and had the word “life” weaved in the paint. She talked about the poem The Weaver.
The positive pebbles took off and are all over the world. She does milestone sets for churches with the stones (baptism, communion, confirmation, marriage and more) and milestones outside of the church, she does waterbug and dragonfly themed art and pebbles that went with her story about the dragonfly leaving the pond resembling a student who passed away. She does prairie themed paintings and art.
