MEAL SIGN UP - Please be sure to sign up by noon on Fridays! Reminder to add meals for guests (other than the program). We need to give an accurate count to Dave's so we have enough meals for our members and guests. Not sure if you will make it? It is better to put your name on the list by noon Friday and take it off later if needed. The weekly menus are also shown on the sheet.
Remember we will start the Zoom meeting about 12:20pm to allow time for everyone to eat.

Program: This week's program was presented by Kathy Herrick and Kim Wendel with Charles City Area Dollars for Scholars. Charles City Area Dollars for Scholars is a nonprofit organization run by community volunteers and affiliated with Scholarship America, the nation's largest private sector scholarship and education support organization. In 2024, they awarded $47,650 to 46 students with scholarships ranging from $500 to $2,000. The scholarships are funded by donors with 100% of the funds given dedicated to scholarships. Each year, the local chapter also holds a fundraising event. This year’s event is Snowing for Scholars on Jan. 20 at Elks. Student applications for scholarships for this year are now open.
