Tree Watering Volunteers Needed - John Ebert and Bill Frye are watering the trees today.  Bill Feller plans to water trees on Thursday at 3:00.  If anyone wants to assist they should meet him at the Elks.  Last Thursday, Randy Heitz, Scott Soifer and Bill Feller watered trees.

Club Social and Scrap Drive Wrapup (Oct. 12) - Come to the brewery on October 12 at 6pm for a social and wrapup of the scrap drive. All are welcome!

 

Rotary International Survey - On Monday, you should have received an email from RI President R. Gordon R. McInally with an invitation to participate in a Rotary International survey. Please take 5-10 min to complete the survey.

 

Fun & Frolic Mon 10/16 - We are going to play a Rotary version of “I Spy”!  Have you noticed a member doing something remarkable recently?  How about doing something that they didn’t notice anyone watching (good or bad)?  Each table will listen to the nominations from their table-mates.  The table will determine their group’s nominee for the overall “Charles City Rotary I Spy Award”.  Each who nominates someone will be assessed the usual $1. Failures to nominate a member is $2.00.  Each table has the authority to assess additional charges or delete the assessment for the table’s nomination.  Upon hearing each table’s nomination, the audience will vote for the club award recipient.  Be thinking and keep your eyes out for nominations!

 

Santa's Shining Lights -  Planning is underway for the 2023 events that will kick off Nov. 25! Next meeting is Tue. Oct. 17 at 6:30pm at Dennis Donovan's office.
