Ellen Bengston Scholarship - Our Club has been asked by Ellen’s mom about Rotary administering a scholarship in Ellen’s name to a qualified senior next year. Ellen received a Rotary Scholarship from her local Rotary Club in Washington. Memorials can be sent to the Club at our P.O. Box with Ellen Bengston Scholarship in the memo.

Highway 14/7 Mile Road Rest Area Clean Up & Social - Meet Tuesday, August 18 at 6pm at the Highway 14/ 7 mile corner rest area for a cleanup project followed by a tailgate-style social. Bring a weed trimmer if you have one. Randy is furnishing a light meal and beverages for us when completed. Please RSVP here so we have a headcount.
Project Planning and Input- Last call! Your input is needed to help guide the direction of our upcoming projects. The Board will review the survey at their meeting August 17.
Fun & Frolic: Dean Stewart tested the Club's local real estate knowledge and pledge $25 per answer toward the Ellen Bengston Scholarship. Dean challenged the members to send their own support for the scholarship.
Program: Justin Heyer shared his Eagle Scout project installing 4 flagpoles with landscaping and lights at the new baseball and softball diamonds. Total project is about $9,000. He has raised about $4,000 so far and has taken out a loan to complete the project by his 18th birthday in September. The Board will discuss a Club donation at their next meeting.
