2019-2002 Board Term - Julie Versluis was nominated and indicated a willingness to serve. A motion was made by Tammy Elthon and seconded by Jenni Miller to elect Julie to the Board of Directors. Motion carried. Thank you for your service, Julie!
Coin Box Totals - Hy-Vee has been collecting coins at the checkouts and collected a total of $398.82 for the upcoming all-inclusive playground project at Washington School!
Party in the Park - This Friday L&J Industries is a sponsor and will be purchasing Rotary popcorn to giveaway during the event. Volunteers are still neededto work the popcorn booth: July 12 and 26, and Aug. 9. Shifts are 5-7pm and 7-9pm. See Staci to sign up.
Satellite Club with Evening Meetings - Staci will be reaching out the Membership Committee and others to get a satellite club kicked off very soon. If you have interest in helping start this group, see Staci.
Makeups no longer needed - The Board has voted that since attendance is no longer required by RI, that we will no longer track makeups for meetings. Attendance will be taken at weekly meetings to help the Board and Membership Committee keep track of Club health.

Iowa Games - Charles City will host river events for the Iowa Games on Saturday, June 29. See Mark Wicks if you would like to volunteer to help with the event.

Julie just started in this position and shared many of the services she can offer at Hy-Vee including: meal planning, biometric screenings and health assessments, food demos and classes, and personal shopping assistance.
