A funeral Mass for Jean Troge will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, October 30, 2026, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Charles City with Reverend Ray Atwood officiating. A gathering of family and friends will be from 12:30 p.m. until the start of the service at the church. Jean Marie’s cremains will be buried at Riverside Cemetery in Charles City at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorials be directed to them so that they can be used for future donations to support alcohol addiction treatment services.

Polio Walk - Thanks to all who walked on Saturday! And thank you to Larry and Alan, who raised $1,000 in pledges to support Polio Plus.

- Please be sure to sign up by noon on Fridays! Be sure to add yourself and any guests (other than the program). We need an accurate count so we have enough meals for our members and guests. Not sure if you will make it? It is better to put your name on the list by noon Friday and take it off later if needed. The weekly menus are also shown on the sheet.

Program: This week’s program was a discussion on the upcoming community input survey. Main Street Charles City, in partnership with Main Street Iowa, is launching a community input survey to gather your feedback on visioning for Charles City and the downtown district. Your input will help shape the future of our community!
📅 Save the date for our public input session on Tuesday, November 10th, at 6 p.m. in the Zastrow Room of the Charles City Public Library, to hear the results and share your thoughts.
