Friends Garden Work Day, April 22 at 5pm - It's time for spring clean-up at the Friends Garden trailhead. Volunteers should meet at the park located next to the VFW. Bring gloves, clippers and rakes. We will have another workday to stain the absorbs when it is warmer. RSVP here so we have a headcount
Cookbook Recipes- We need 200 recipes for a variety of food or beverage for our cookbook. To reach that goal, we are asking each member to submit 5 recipes. Email your submissions to Marcie Andrews at deanandmarcie@gmail.com.

Program: This week's program was presented the new Charles City Housing Director Katie Nolte. Katie shared her background and information on local housing programs including public housing options (Morningside, and North and South Cedar Terrace) and the Section 8 Housing Choice Vouchers.
