Program: This week's program was by Cheif of Police Hugh Anderson. He shared ongoing community projects and programs including: "Drive sober or get pulled over" campaign, Bike Rodeo, National Night Out, Citizens Police Academy, school and community resource officer, Jordy the K-9 officer, and Police Reserves. Keep up with the latest information from the CCPD on their Facebook Page.
Quarterly Salad Option - In an effort to address member requests for salads, the Club is going to offer a salad option next quarter. Members can choose to have a salad instead of the main entree for the quarter. Those taking the salad meal can still take the other parts of the regular meal (bread, dessert, drinks, etc.). The cost will remain the same. See Marcie to try this option for a quarter.
One Rotary Summit - The time is drawing near for the 2019-20 One Rotary Summit (ORS). Our Rotary story is connected through membership, public image, and humanitarian service. Every Rotarian has stories to tell, and these stories inspire current members, attract new members, and can increase Rotary Foundation giving.
This year’s ORS theme will be "Connected by Our Rotary Stories." Attendees will have the opportunity to:
Learn why storytelling skills are so important in Rotary
Gather ideas to distribute Rotary stories in the community and to current and prospective members
