- Scrap Drive Next Week (Oct 3 -10). Volunteers are needed to help with business and community pickup Monday through Thursday (day and evening shifts). Check out the details and signup sheet below!

- Parking Lot Cleanup Postponed -The parking lot cleanup for this evening will be postponed! We will find a dry day after the scrap drive.

Floyd County Medical Center would like to remind you about the Groundbreaking Ceremony of Phase II of our hospital expansion -Thursday, October 1 at 4:00 pm
Itinerary: Attendees will hear remarks from community and organizational leaders, see renderings of what the new addition will look like upon completion, and enjoy light refreshments.
Phase II is an integral part of our hospital expansion and will include five new operating rooms, a new cafeteria and kitchen, and new materials management department.
The estimated completion date of Phase II spans the end of 2028 to the beginning of 2029. Phase III, which will encompass the Stille Cancer Center, will begin construction next year and will have its own groundbreaking celebration sometime in 2027

- World's Largest Polio Walk October 24 - Rotarians are gathering for the World's Largest Polio Walk at 10am on October 24. Our Club is encouraging our members to walk for polio awareness on that day. The Board will discuss ways to support Polio Plus as part of this effort. - Please be sure to sign up by noon on Fridays! Be sure to add yourself and any guests (other than the program). We need an accurate count so we have enough meals for our members and guests. Not sure if you will make it? It is better to put your name on the list by noon Friday and take it off later if needed. The weekly menus are also shown on the sheet.
