Program: This week's program was by Floyd County Medical Center Administrator Rod Nordeng on the process to change the Medical Center's status to a Chapter 347 facility which would allow them to level for tax dollars. FCMC is currently only one of two hospitals in the state not currently operating under Chapter 347. Signatures are needed by Sept. 15 for a petition to add this item to the Nov. 5 election ballot.
Quarterly Salad Option - In an effort to address member requests for salads, the Club is going to offer a salad option next quarter. Members can choose to have a salad instead of the main entree for the quarter. Those taking the salad meal can still take the other parts of the regular meal (bread, dessert, drinks, etc.). The cost will remain the same. See Marcie to try this option for a quarter.
